Meet Laci Kicklighter

Step into the offices of Secret Sins, Inc., and let Laci Kicklighter solve your mystery. Watch for her first novella to be released on Amazon in July.

I want to introduce you to a woman who has become a very dear friend in the last few months.

Meet Laci Kicklighter.

Laci is the amazing female Private Eye in my new “Secret Sins, Inc. Mystery” series. Formerly an elementary school teacher, Laci traded in her tedious classroom in public education for a titillating career in private investigation. With her assistant and sidekick Capri, the two will stir up all kinds of trouble, and some of it quite scintillating, as they find themselves hot on the trail of rogue criminals and vile murderers.

In the next few months, you’ll get familiar with Laci, Capri, and Laci’s husband, Ballard. I have a story about Laci and Ballard coming out in August in the 2023 Passionate Ink anthology Hot & Sticky (more on that next month). The story’s called “Spies Like Us.”

In July, you’ll find Laci trying to unravel the murder of a kinky pastor and high school friend of hers in the novella “The Simple Art of Lust.” This one gets deep and dirty!

Early this fall, Laci and Capri will find themselves going undercover in a pleasure slave cult in San Francisco in the novella “The Story of Q.” Their assignment is to find a young woman who has been kidnapped by the cultists. Doing so means the pair must infiltrate a very secretive and lusty Gothic Tudor chateau, and the only way to go unnoticed is to get undressed.
